Awkwafina

Awkwafina was an American actor and musician from the United States who began her career with clever hip-hop raps that addressed racial and sexuality with an edgy and humorous perspective. Then she moved on into Hollywood. Born Nora Lum to Chinese and Korean immigrants from Forest Hills Queens her first musical experience came with the trumpet. Additionally, she was given instruction in jazz and classical before delving into hip-hop as a teenager. While at school, she majored in journalism and women's studies in college even studying Mandarin in Beijing for a stint. Following graduation, she decided to devote her time to music. Her song My Vag, a response track to Mickey Avalon's My Dick gained viral popularity on the Internet in 2012. It would later be included in her debut album Yellow Ranger released in 2014. Other viral hits included the queef song and the winking NYC Bitchecity tour. The latter was connected to Awkwafina's NYC, a 2015 travel guide. After she established herself as a singer and author, she decided to take on the role of actor. Her film credits include films like Neighbors 2 Storks as well as Bad Rap. The actress made headlines in 2018 with a few prominent films, like Dude Ocean's 8, as well as Crazy Rich Asians. She released the EP,"At Fina We Trust in June of that year.
