Annaleigh Amanda Ashford, an American actor and singer. The first Broadway parts included Wicked Legally Blonde & Hair. In You Can't Take It With You She was the recipient of the Tony Award as Best Featured actor in a Play. Annaleigh Ashford is a Tony Award winner actor is a frequent collaborator with famous directors and actors in TV and stage productions. She continues this award-winning career through her forthcoming projects. Ashford's next project will be a limited-edition Hulu show called Welcome to Chippendales, created by Robert Siegel. The show is set to premiere on November 22nd and Ashford stars opposite Kumail Najiani. Ashford is currently filming for Searchlight Pictures' horror thriller Dust starring opposite Sarah Paulson and Ebon Moss-Bachrach. It is Hulu Original, the film will be made available to Disney DTC's digital platforms. Ashford will come back in 2023, and will be starring opposite Josh Groban at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre in the revival of Stephen Sondheim Sweeney Todd. The group behind Hamilton production Jeffrey Seller and director Thomas Kail is at the leading the production. Ashford was Paula Jones most recently in Ryan Murphy FX's American Crime Story Impeachment, inspired by the incident in which Paula Jones Monica Lewinsky Linda Tripp were the principal characters of the first ever impeachment proceeding in America. For two seasons, she was an actor on the hit show on CBS called B Positive. The show was co-created by Marco Pennette, Chuck Lorre and Linda Lavin. It also featured Hector Elizondo and Ben Vereen. In addition, she was on Broadway in Sunday in the Park With George Wicked, Legally Blonde and the first role in the role of Lauren on Kinky Boots for which she was nominated for a Tony Award. Born and raised in Denver Ashford has now divided her time between Los Angeles and New York.
