Anne Curtis

Anne Curtis Smith has received numerous honors in her career. Among them are the two FAMAS Awards she won in the years 2008 and 2009 as well as the Luna Award. In addition to that, Anne Curtis Smith was also nominated for five PMPC Star Awards. She has also been selected for nominations to two Gawad Urian Awards and the eight PMPC Star Awards for Movies. Curtis starred as Hiram Kampanerang Kuba (2005), Maging Sino ka Man Dyosa (2007) Green Rose (2011) and Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw (2003). In the Mars Ravelo show Dyesebel she portrayed the Komiks legendary character Dyesebel. In addition, she was a host of the variety show noontime show It's Showtime (2009-2020). Anne Curtis is a Filipina Australian actress as well as model, and a television host. The actress has received numerous accolades over the course of her profession. These include two FAMAS Awards one Luna Award two Metro Manila Film Festival Awards five PMPC Star Awards Television. Her name has been mentioned to win 8 PMPC Star Awards, two Gawad Urian Awards and also for her participation in the Gawad Urian Awards. Curtis has appeared in a number of TV series including Hiram (2004-2005) Kampanerang Kuba (2005) Maging Sino Dyosa (2008) Green Rose (2011) and Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw (2013). In 2014, Curtis played the famous Komiks Dyesebel character on Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel. She was also the host of It's Showtime, the noontime variety show (2009-2020). Curtis is the daughter Carmencita Ojales, a Filipina native to Bolinao Pangasinan, and James Ernest Curtis Smith, who was an Australian lawyer. Her birthplace was Yarrawonga located in Victoria, Australia. Her father got married Ojales in 1982. Her older sibling Jasmine is also an actor. Clare is a cousin of theirs on the day of father's death. Clare passed away at 4 months of age in 2007 after suffering from an illness of the heart.
